Sea transportation plays a different role in general haulage sector. Ulusoy, for years, has gained experience as an “agency” in sea transportation. Then it strengthened its transportation experience in affiliation with UND and established Ulusoy Ro – Ro Management Inc. after purchasing ULUSOY – 1 with a capacity of 42 trailers in 1995 with a target to develop Ro – Ro transportation primarily with Black Sea countries

ULUSOY – 1 vessel was sold in 1999 after years of service between Samsun -Novorossiysk, Derince - Ilichevsk and Zonguldak – Yevpotaria and instead a younger and more modern Ro – Ro vessel with a capacity of 92 trailers holding the same name has been added to the Ulusoy’s marine fleet. Today ULUSOY – 1 vessel carries ISM and ISO 9002 safety and quality certificates and continues her operations between Çeşme and Trieste.
