The Location of the Project

This feasibility project has been developed to build Güzelçay I and II hydro-electric power plants and produce electrical energy on Miscellaneous West Black Sea Waters reservoir Güzel (Kanlı) Stream and its branches in Sinop’s Dikmen town in line with “Electricity Market License Regulation” conditions of İLK ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION INDUSTRY AND TRADE INC.

The project field is located in West Black Sea Region, within the borders of Sinop’s Dikmen town, between 41º 36’ 30’’ - 41º 41 00’’ north latitudes and 35º 14’ 00’’ - 35º 24’ 00’’ east longitudes, between altitudes of 18.00 and 241.25 m of SINOP E34 d3, Sinop E24 c1 sheets scaled to 1:25000.

Proposed Facilities

In this Revised Feasibility Report prepared by our company, the viability of the facilities had been examined by using current hydrologic data, available facilities and up-to-date planning criteria.

In feasibility studies, the hydro-electric potential of Güzelçay I and II Hydro-Electric Plants over West Black Sea Waters reservoir Güzel (Kanlı) Stream between the altitudes of 18.00 m and 241.00 m was assessed.
