Volvo and Ulusoy Otomotiv, each of which is a pacemaker, joined forces in 1980 in Turkey. One of the milestones in the commercial life of Ulusoy is its cooperation with Volvo, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of trucks, which has continued since 1980. Ulusoy, which has been active in domestic and foreign transportation and shipping since 1937, proved its reliability once more by becoming the distributor of Volvo in Turkey in 1980. In other words cutting edge technology and environmental awareness of Volvo united with the reliability of Ulusoy Otomotiv.

Between the years 1980-2001 Ulusoy Otomotiv, the distributor of Volvo in Turkey undertook sales and services activities of Volvo trucks successfully. Since the re-structuring of Volvo in Turkey and establishment of the “Volvo Otomotiv Türk Ltd.Şti” in 2001, it has carried out its activities as the dealer of Volvo.

As a result of this continuously growing co-operation between Volvo and Ulusoy, Volvo granted Ulusoy with the authorization of opening a sales and service center in Samsun to serve for Middle Black Sea Region and in Trabzon to serve for Eastern Black Sea Region.

Volvo Trucks Authorized Sales and Service Center was put into service on December 16, 2009 in Samsun.  Within 2010 our new facility for Showroom and Truck Services will come into service in Trabzon.
