WE AS ULUSOY OTOMOTİV SANAYİ VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ EMPLOYEES SET AS A GOAL

To provide our services accurately, continuously, in time and reliably so as to be one of the prestigious companies in Turkey, of which service quality is highly-esteemed in automotive sector; and to ensure unconditional satisfaction of our customers and comfort of our suppliers and employees.

To achieve our goal, our QUALITY POLICY covers
- improving the system on a continuous basis in accordance with the requirements of Quality Management System
- training and motivating employees and increasing their contributions to the system
- making team work more dedicated and productive by giving the element of quality human being prominence
- having a strong communication network with our customers and meeting all of their needs and expectations as fast as possible
- implementing process-based improvements to increase the efficiency and productivity of all the processes

Corporate Environmental Policy

Our company is extremely aware of both global environmental issues but also local ones. As a part of the local community, we share the environmental concerns and we show maximum effort to minimize the possible negative effects of our projects and activities on the environment. Our company shall perform the following activities to fulfill its commitment towards the environmental protection:

- defining effects of all environmental activities of the company on the environment.
- abiding by current laws as a minimum standard
- implementing procedures to minimize air, sea and water pollution
- taking continuous precautions so as to decrease the environmental effects of our activities
- decreasing wastes and consumption of energy and natural resources always and everywhere, when possible
- providing our personnel with the trainings and sources for having the necessary skills for the implementation of this policy
-  establishing      environmental    goals    and    objectives.

Our company is aware of the fact that unless each of the employees makes active contribution, any environmental policy may not be successful. For this reason, it shall make and maintain the adjustments required for environmental consultancy. This environmental policy shall continuously be revised and amended, when necessary.

Personnel Policy

PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT

In personnel recruitment the qualifications and educational background play an important role. For mechanical personnel, graduation from vocational high school is of priority. In all branches it is also very important that the candidate is presentable and non-smoker. However, in case other requirements are fulfilled and there is no alternative, then smoking will not be taken into consideration. Male candidates are required to have completed their military service. Once there is a need for recruitment, first the existing personnel will be informed of the case and asked for their acquaintances appropriate for the job. If no result is obtained, then a job posting will be placed on the newspaper. Candidates first fill the application form and then will be interviewed by the department supervisor. If the candidate is approved by the department supervisor in the first interview, then company manager makes the second interview. Interviewers send the candidate after writing their comments on the form. References on the application form are called to collect information about the candidate. If a positive result is obtained, then the candidate is asked to prepare the necessary documents and informed of the starting date of employment.

ORIENTATION

Personnel, who is recruited is first subject to a period of probation and informed that the salary will be determined following this period. He is insured on the date of employment and can benefit from his social rights immediately. In the first week information about Ulusoy and Volvo companies is given. During this period of probation he/she is closely monitored, opinions of his/her colleagues are asked and with the approval of the department supervisor, his/her period of probation ends and starts as a permanent personnel. He is then involved in a training program parallel to his/her qualifications.

MOTIVATION AND PERMANENCE

The most important factor in a company is the employee. If an employee is knowledgeable, successful and permanent, then it brings about the success of the company. For this reason a company manager shall monitor his/her employees and ensure permanence of successful and hardworking ones. Staff turnover should be minimized. Successful employees should be rewarded and motivated. In December each year a Personnel Performance Evaluation shall be made and this evaluation shall be sent to the executive management so that high performance is rewarded with a bonus or high increase of salary. Personnel rights established in Labor Law shall always be protected.

TRAINING

Training is an indispensable part of a personnel policy.  Rapidly developing technology makes training a must. For this reason in December each year company manager prepares the training program of the next year taking the qualifications of the existing personnel into consideration. In preparing the training program he/she gets into contact with Volvo Training Department for technical training. Each trainee is given a Certificate of Training and this information is recorded in his/her file. The employee, who gets the highest grade in the training, is rewarded with half Cumhuriyet gold coin.

CLOTHING

Mechanical staff is required to wear work uniforms parallel to Volvo norms. Manager bimonthly provides each mechanical personnel with a couple of work uniforms. Washing and keeping clean of such uniforms is under the responsibility of the employee. For personnel working in the body unit, special work uniforms made of cloth, which is not affected by welding machine, are provided. Cloths and models of work uniforms vary depending on the season. Male personnel on administrative positions wear classic trousers and shirts. Ladies wear classic trousers or skirts and shirts or blouses without décolleté. Sandal type shoes are forbidden for men. Women working in the kitchen are by all means required to cover their heads. Men shall have a shave every two days. Executives shall wear tie. Casual wear is allowed on Saturdays.

 

SPECIAL TASKS

Manager can assign special tasks to the personnel in addition to his/her main tasks. These special tasks may be cleaning, first aid, fire-extinguishing, etc. and are recorded in the job definition form. (Form No.F01-1.4). Manager shall also provide trainings for such special tasks.

DEBIT

All kinds of materials allocated to the employees are delivered against signature and taken back when the employee leaves. Each mechanical staff is provided with a standard locked toolkit. It’s the responsibility of the mechanical staff to protect and not to lose these materials. Service center supervisor is orally informed of broken tools and new tools are given. Expensive, small and special tools are kept in a locked closet or a room by the supervisor. Such special tools are counted twice a year and if there is a missing or faulty one, service manager is informed of the situation.

MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Management representative is responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of quality system (Dealer’s working conditions, quality and environment) of Ulusoy Otomotiv Küçükyalı Service Center.

Business Policy

The most important task for us is to ensure customer satisfaction and happiness. Our fundamental business policy covers providing our customers with convenient prices and discounts for the products and services they purchase by not compromising quality in the services offered; offering credits to appropriate customers by establishing the limits and conditions; following receivables systematically; meeting customer demands in time and on a maximum basis with an accurate and scientific stock policy; offering good faith repairs as much as possible; giving priority to the security of the customers at all times; and establishing processes, procedures and implementations as business and service policy.
