Marine shipment has a different place in the sector of general transportation. Ulusoy has had long years' experience in this sector as an "agent". Then, it has accumulated experience in transportation within UND. Finally, Ulusoy Ro - Ro Management Inc. was established in 1995. The company's first aim was to develop Ro - Ro shipment to neighboring countries along the Black Sea with ULUSOY - 1 vessel with the capacity of 42 trailers.

ULUSOY - 1 vessel, after her lines in the Black Sea, Samsun - Novorossiysk, Derince - Ilichevsk, and Zonguldak - Yevpotaria until 1999, was sold and another younger and more modern vessel with the same name with a 92 trailers capacity joined the marine fleet of Ulusoy. Today, ULUSOY - 1, having ISM and ISO 9002 security and quality certificates keeps on its regular sailings between Çeşme -Trieste.
